Three pubs in England have had to close again, just after reopening, after a number of customers tested positive for COVID-19. Staff then had to spend hours attempting to contact everyone who had been at the pub on the same day as the infected customers, some of whom they couldn’t reach.


Informing people that they’ve potentially been exposed quickly is critical in preventing the spread of this terrible disease.


This is precisely why we’ve launched Presence, which takes care of the whole process of registering customers and then contacting them in the case of a positive test, making it faster and moving the workload off retail and hospitality staff.

‘Immunity passports’ could be issued to those who have had the virus in a bid to get people back to work and revive the economy. However, it will be a challenge providing these quickly and securely and in a way that respects the privacy of the holder
